Ifeanyi Ubah will see off Wikki Tourist, boasts Wisdom Magbisa

Despite Garden City defeat to Rivers United, the midfielder has backed the Anambra Warriors to silence the Bauchi side as he eyes first team return

Ifeanyi Ubah's Wisdom Magbisa is confident his side will dismantle Wikki Tourist when both teams go head to head at the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium.

Having watched his side crumbled to a 2-1 Rivers United defeat, the midfielder is eyeing a first team return after full recovery from his illness as he desire to inspire a win on Sunday.

"We are looking forward to the Wikki Tourist's game and I'm fit for the match," Magbisa told Goal.

"It is a very important game for us to get back to winning ways and I'm confident we will with the talents in the squad of seeing off them. They cannot escape a defeat.

"We are aware they've not picked a point away this season and will want to compound their woes as we are not ready to waste any chance at home.

"Personally, I've fully recovered from my sickness and back to Nnewi with my team now. I feel great and okay now after getting treatment of malaria that held me down.

"I had to travel home (Bayelsa) to take forward treatment as advised by my medical team. I'm better now and as you no, had since been training since last Monday.

"It been a difficult time for me watching my teammates on the sideline but I thank God am strong and better now to add my quota to the team.

"I need to take more time to regain match fitness. I'm in no way rushing to first team action but I will take it when the coaching crew certifies me fit. I can't wait to be back playing."
