The Bafana Bafana defender was so much looking forward to his dream move to Europe and Ajax Cape Town hailed it as one of their best ever transfers

However all those dreams came crashing down on the weekend, when Coetzee failed a medical at Scottish giants, Celtic.

What devastating news! Ajax have confirmed they were not aware of Coetzee's injured foot and they will work hard to make sure the defender recovers and gets back on his feet.
