The general manager of the Lagos based amateur outfit has counted his gains on return from their playing tour of West Africa
Team 360, a non-league football club based in Lagos returned to the country after embarking on a training tour of three West African countries.
The team that produced Chigozie Obasi - a key member of the title winning Golden Eaglets at the Fifa U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates - were able test their strength against top African and European based clubs.
In their visit to Benin Republic they spanked premier league side Dragons FC 3-0 before heading to Ghana where they participated in an invitational scouting program that had in attendance some top officials from the FIFA.
The team wrapped up their playing tour in Cote’ d’Ivoire where they played against youth teams from FC Barcelona, Feyenoord , and ASEC Mimosas.
On arrival back to Nigeria, team manager of the club formed in 2012 of their gains.
“It was a very good tour for us and it enabled us to see how football is been run in other parts of the world,” Hamzat told Goal.
“We were able to test our strength against top sides in different countries and this has given us an insight on what kind of players to recruit for different positions.
“Apart from this, our players have been exposed to modern trends in the game which will make them better as they forge ahead in their careers,” he concluded.
Team 360 will play Nigeria Premier League side Enyimba in a friendly match in Ota, Ogun sate.
