thumbnail Hello,

Arsene Wenger’s will be hoping to launch a bid back to the top of the English Premier League table when they visit West Ham in London derby

Arsenal makes the cross-capital trip to Upton Park on Boxing Day to take on a West Ham side badly struggling for points.  The Gunners forced Chelsea to a barren draw in their last game and they will be hoping to get past their hosts as the hope to get back to the top of the EPL log.

The Gunners were usurped at the summit for Christmas by Liverpool, failing to take top spot back during Monday's draw against Mourinho’s men Chelsea at the Emirates.

Wenger’s men are 8/13 (1.61) favorites with Ladbrokes to secure their sixth English Premier League win of the current season while the same firm back that the Hammers emerge victorious after 90 minutes with odd of 4/1 (5.00) placed on ground.

The draw is available at 3/1 (4.00) with Ladbrokes.

Sam Allardyce's men have lost by two goals or more, four times in the last six weeks, with five of their last six defeats being by this margin or more. Arsenal have scored three goals in each of their last two away games and clearly are not lacking in firepower, making this an excellent option.

You can back both teams to score at 3/4 (1.75) according to Ladbrokes.

The Gunners have not lost on Boxing Day since 1999 and they could be boosted by the return of Laurent Koscielny who missed Monday's draw against Chelsea with a gashed leg while Jack Wilshere completes his two-game ban for an offensive gesture at the end of his side's mauling by Manchester City a couple of weeks ago.

French forward Oliver Giroud is available at 4/1 (5.00) to net first on Boxing Day while his teammate Theo Walcott can be backed at 11/2 (7.50) to get the curtain raiser.

For punters seeking for a value bet, they should back Wenger’s side to keep a clean slate at 13/1 0 (2.30).

West Ham have won just one of their last seven league games at Upton Park, losing four and drawing the remaining two in that time.
