The Gunners travel to Liberty Stadium with the hope of consolidating on their lead at the summit of the English Premier League
Arsenal travel to South Wales on Saturday afternoon to face Swansea in week 6 encounter of the English Premier League.
The Gunners occupy the first position on the log with 12 points from five games while their hosts occupy the eighth position with just seven points.
Arsenal are again without Theo Walcott who is likely to be out for around five weeks after surgery on an abdominal problem and they will also give fitness tests to midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini. Not minding this setback, Wenger’s side are hot favorites with Ladbrokes to secure victory at odds of 6/5 (1.24).
Swansea come into this game after picking up seven points from their last three games, which included impressive victories at West Brom and Crystal Palace as well as an entertaining 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool. Ladbrokes backs them at 23/10 (3.30) to beat the Gunners.
The draw is a 23/10 (3.30) play also with the same firm.
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup looks set to be without captain Ashley Williams who has been struggling with an ankle injury while Pablo Hernandez also looks set to miss out as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Having this in mind, the Swans are available at 9/1 (10.00) to come from behind and win.
Arsene Wenger will have to deal without Santi Cazorla, Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski and Yaya Sanogo through injury and will again rely on summer signing Mesut Ozil who has been magnificent in his first few Arsenal appearances.
One likely candidate to open the scoring is Oliver Giroud, the Frenchman is well worth backing at generous 9/2 (5.50) odds to find the back of the net first.
