Chelsea forward Victor Moses will likely play the Africa Cup of Nations final match for Nigeria against Burkina Faso on Sunday.
Moses had a kick about with John Obi Mikel as the team warmed up before the media at the National Stadium, Johannesburg. He did not betray any sign of pain as he juggled and kicked the ball with his Chelsea team counterpart.
Nigerians have been concerned about the fitness level of the player who has shown a lot of creativity for the team. Moses scored a brace from the penalty spot as the Super Eagles defeated Ethiopia to earn a place in the quarter finals.
He was also very influential in the quarter final win against Cote D’Ivoire before creating Nigeria’s first goal in the 4-1 defeat of Mali in the semi final.
Coach Stephen Keshi had said during press conference that he would wait till Sunday morning to decide if Moses and striker Emmanuel Emenike would be fit for the game against Burkina Faso.
Even though Emenike did not train with the squad on Saturday evening, it is looking like the team is playing a psychological game with their opponents ahead of the final match on Sunday evening.
