Former Nigerian International has advised the Super Eagles to concentrate on their next opponents in the semi finals of Afcon

Ex Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh has stated in clear terms that the Super Eagles should forget Ivory Coast and think of their next opponents, Mali in the semi finals of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

Oliseh said after the quarter final game on Sunday that the euphoria of the game must stop because Mali is another tough nut to crack.

"I am happy the because played well and defeated Ivory Coast. Nobody gave them a chance, but they proved they can do the impossible by dismantling Ivory Coast.

"As a Nigerian, I am happy we are playing in semi finals of the tournament. I am happy because the players showed enough fighting spirit all through the game.

"But I want to counsel that the players should stop thinking of the last game against Ivory Coast and be properly focussed on Mali.

"I want them to play with the same spirit with which they approached the game against Ivory Coast. They must not relent on their oars.

"They should replicate that kind of performance against Ivory Coast and they will see the trophy in Nigeria. They must never underrate Mali.

"Any form of complacency will spell doom for us. We should approach the next game with Mali.
"I am sure we are going to do well, but we must not rest on our oars," Oliseh cautioned.

The Super Eagles will meet Mali in the first semi finals on Wednesday.
