The Chipolopolo goalkeeper says his side will play as a unit and will not focus on any individual talents in their game against the Super Eagles
Zambia goalkeeper and assistant captain Kennedy Mweene has said that his side will take on Nigeria in the second Group B game in Mbombela on Friday as a unit.
The Chipolopolo drew their opening game against ten-man Ethiopia 1-1 last Monday. Mweene saved a penalty in that encounter.
Mweene, who coach Herve Renard described as the “best keeper in Africa,” said they were not happy about the draw. “People at home cried, we also cried,” said the short stopper.
Going into Friday’s crucial game, the keeper said: “We respect Nigeria and will take them on as a group. “
