Mali’s star man is hoping to give their fans something to smile about this year aside the unrest in their country
Mali captain Seydou Keita has set his sights on winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The 33-year-old led the Eagles to their best finish at the tournament since 1972, as they beat Ghana to win bronze medal in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea 2012.
Keita who will be making his sixth appearance at the continental showpiece is confident the team can go a step ahead of their performance in the 2012 Afcon.
“I have a lot to offer to the team and will play my part to steer the team to go far at the tournament in South Africa,” Keita told Cafonline.
Mali are in Group B with four-time champions Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Niger.
