Zambia have added one more friendly to their pre-tournament programme and are looking to possibly play more matches before they begin the defence of their title
Zambia had already fixed warm-up games against Tanzania and Norway before they begin the tournament in January and have now added an encounter against Morocco.
The game will be played on January 8, likely in South Africa, who will be hosting the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, where Zambia will prepare for at least three weeks before kick off.
Zambia begin the build-up for the Nations Cup on December 15 when they go into camp and will play a friendly in Dar-es-Salaam against Tanzania on December 23.
The squad then heads to Johannesburg for continued preparations and will play Morocco in an added fixture.
They will go back home to Zambia briefly for an international against Norway in Ndola on January 12 before heading back to South Africa for the final days of preparation, leading up to their opening game of the tournament on January 23.
During that 11-day period, Zambia hope to play one international game and are hoping to persuade Namibia to travel to Johannesburg for a pre-tournament friendly. The two countries played out a goalless draw just before Zambia went to the 2012 finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, which they won.
