Liverpool FC’s Belgium international goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has signed a representation agreement with boutique agency Activate Management.
The agreement, made between Mignolet’s Belgium management company Cherry Sports and Activate, will see the Dunston-based firm take responsibility for all of Mignolet’s international commercial interests.
The agency also represents the likes of England international rugby players Luther Burrell and Lee Dickson, cricket stars Jimmy Anderson and Matt Prior, and super middleweight boxing champion Carl Froch.
Mignolet, who is currently challenging for the Premier League title with his club side Liverpool, commented: “I’m really pleased to have signed with Activate Management and am really looking forward to exploring my commercial opportunities with them around the world. There’s a lot to look forward to at the moment.”
Activate Management’s managing director, Luke Sutton, added: “We are all delighted Simon has joined us. He’s a bright guy and we are looking forward to working with him. It is our first step into football and to do so with such a top player is very exciting.”
