Shooting Stars striker, Abu Azeez insist they are ready to trade tackles with ABS in a Southwest derby on Sunday.
The Oluyole Warriors find themselves in the relegation zone and will be looking to claim victory to boost their hopes of survival.
"It's a tough time for a team like Shooting Stars who have a place in the history of Nigerian football, but the confidence in the team is encouraging at this time, "Abu told Goal.
"We are prepared and ready to face ABS and the only option we have is to win. We just have to win because that will help boost the team's confidence going forward.
The former Enyimba fleet footed forward also notes the importance of experience at this stage.
"I will try my best just like everyone in the team but I just wished we had more experienced players," he added.
"Fighting off relegation to stay in the Premier League requires a lot and experience is an important component.
"The experienced players in the team are doing well to help the team as we continue to push harder in every match. The management and the technical crew are also doing their bit too," he concluded.
