Yusuf Mohammed believes the outcome of Kano Pillars' clash with MFM will not have an immediate effect on the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The 2013 NPFL champions are unbeaten in the last three matches, with two wins and one draw in the process.
Sai Masu Gida are 10th in the NPFL table with 34 points from 24 matches, while their oppositions are second in the log, five points adrift of the summit.
"We will be hoping we can go into that game all firing and give them something to really worry about. It’s going to be a massive game," Mohammed told Goal.
"It won’t decide the title or anything but it could go a long way in terms of how teams cope mentally, whether they win or lose in the subsequent games.
"We have maintained our form, we have been very consistent and are playing well. MFM is a good side, that's something we are aware of but we have our plans."
"Can we win the League title? It remains to be seen, but we hope to continue like this."
