Emem Eduok targets brace for Dolphins against Heartland

Dolphins striker Emem Eduok has revealed his desire to score two goals against Heartland in Wednesday's Week 21 encounter at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Dolphins host Heartland in a reverse fixture of the Week One encounter this season, which they lost 1-0 in Owerri.

Emem has scored a total of 11 goals so far in all competitions for Dolphins - eight in the league and three in the Federation Cup.

The former Akwa United attacker, who joined Dolphins in 2010, insists his side's ambition against the Ransom Madu's side is nothing less than an outright home victory.

"Victory is all we want and desire today. i hope to score goals, two goals by God's grace. And hoping to score more in the Federation Cup final and the upcoming league matches this season," Emem told Goal.

When asked about the secret behind his club's progress so far this season, Eduok said the unity of purpose, determination, Rivers State government's support and determination has propelled them.

"Togetherness and the love we have for each other, focus and the grace of God. Most importantly our commitment. The support of the government too and effort of our management," he concluded.

Dolphins who have won Federation Cup four times reached their fifth final after seven years after they edged out Prime FC 1-0 in the semi-final to set-up a classic final with defending champions Enyimba.

Dolphins are placed 7th with 30 points from 20 games played so far this season.
