The League Management Company has hinted that this years’ Super Four competition may likely hold in the northern city of Kaduna
Kaduna State is in pole position to host this year’s Super Four football tournament which will commence on October 28.
Salihu Abubakar, an official of the League Management Company hinted that all hands are on deck to ensure the competition holds in Kaduna.
"Kaduna is the likely venue to host Super Four because that the city we are working on now. For now let me say Kaduna will host Super Four between October 28 and November 3," Abubakar said.
"The Super Four will not decide who wins the league. It is just a competition we organise as the league statute said, so it is organised to follow the rule."
Kano Pillars, Bayelsa United, El Kanemi and Enyimba are in pole position to finish in the top four spots to qualify for this championship which is also part of the Nigeria league pre-season campaign.
It will be recalled that Heartland of Owerri won last year's edition which took place in the ancient city of Kano.
