Warri Wolves to appeal NFF's O&D ruling

The Seasiders have turned to the NFF's Appeal's Committee to seek redress after a perceived injustice from the Organising and Disciplinary Committee

Warri Wolves have appealed against a decision to replay an abandoned league match against Kwara United in Abuja.

According to spokesman for the Delta Football Association (DFA), Timi Ebikagboro, the DFA will protest the decision of the O&D of the NFF against Warri Wolves in their abandoned game against Kwara United at the Kwara Township Stadium in Ilorin.

The statement said the DFA believes the O&D were not fair in their decision on Warri Wolves, and as such have paid the mandatory protest fee to the appeals committee of the NFF, so as to get justice.

The DFA also frowned at the way and manner their general secretary, Friday Onothoja was sent out of the sitting of the O&D, without regards to the fact that he was representing the state on an issue he was mandated to do.

While expressing confidence in the Aminu Maigari-led board’s ability to take Nigerian football to the next level, the DFA called on all football lovers in Delta State to remain calm and law abiding as the it goes about following due process in seeking justice.
