English Premiership side, Everton football club have tendered a bid for Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
This was revealed by Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport though it remains uncertain how much the Toffees have tabled down for the Africa Cup of Nations title-winning player.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito had earlier revealed that Onazi will not be leaving for a fee of less than €9m.
Onazi has played 16 games this season in Serie A with two assists. He has played 18 times for Nigeria scoring one goal.
The player has also been linked with rivals Liverpool.
