The club captain is unhappy with his peripheral role at the club and could depart for the CSL imminently, with the transfer window there not shutting until next Tuesday.

Everton and the MLS are also possible destinations, but cannot match the player's £230,000-per-week basis wage. In China he has been offered £35 million per year.
