Dynamo Kiev was an easy choice, says Dragovic

The former Basel defender, who had been heavily linked with Inter this summer, has signed a five-year deal with the Ukraine giants and is desperate to win trophies
New Dynamo Kiev signing Aleksandar Dragovic says he did not hesitate to leave Basel for the Ukraine giants once they had made an offer for his services.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Inter, but has joined Oleg Blohkin's side instead on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee and he insists he is relishing the prospect of winning trophies for the club while developing his own game.

"Dynamo Kiev are a great team and I didn't reflect much after I got this invitation," he was quoted as saying by Uefa's official website. "I came here to win trophies and I am sure that we will play in the Champions League next season.

"There are already very good centre-backs playing for Dynamo in Domagoj Vida and Yevhen Khacheridi so there are really good players here and I'm glad that I will play alongside them now."

Dynamo Kiev previously secured the services of players such as Jeremain Lens and Dieumerci Mbokani.
