Agent: There is a 99 per cent chance that Obi will stay at Inter

A move away from San Siro is unlikely to happen, according to the player's representative despite the reported interest from Napoli
Inter midfielder Joel Obi is poised to remain at the club, his agent has declared.

The Nigeria international is reportedly one of the players the Nerazzurri want to use as a makeweight in a summer deal for Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

However, Obi's representative says that his client is in the dark over a potential move to the Stadio San Paolo, and insists that a transfer is an unlikely scenario.

"For now, I do not know anything about negotiations between Napoli and Inter," Renzo Contratto told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"There is a 99 per cent chance that my client will stay at Inter. They have high hopes for young players and I do not think that he will leave."

The 20-year-old, who broke into Inter's first team in 2010, has made 37 appearances in all competitions this term.
