The former Bianconeri staff member, who worked closely with the forward during his youth career, believes that the 25-year-old would be a quality addition to the Blaugrana
The 25-year-old has strongly been linked with a new challenge after impressing for Parma, who signed the player on a co-ownership deal with Juventus last summer.
Giovinco's agent recently revealed that Barcelona are interested in his client, and Ceravolo, who was Juve's youth sector coordinator, believes that the forward would be a big hit at Camp Nou.
"Just like many other clubs in Europe, Barcelona are always on the lookout for new talents," he told Tuttomercatoweb.
"Sebastian is making his mark in Serie A and I think he would fit in well at Barcelona, considering how Pep Guardiola's team plays.
"But he could do well at any top club in Europe, football is not only about physique."
Giovinco, who has made seven appearances for Italy, has scored 10 Serie A goals in 2011-12.
