Laurent Blanc believes that Paris Saint-Germain can go far in the Champions League as long as they manage to avoid Barcelona in the round of 16.
The Ligue 1 champions beat Olympiakos 2-1 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday to book their ticket for the knockout stages with a game to spare.
However, Blanc hopes to steer clear of the team that ended PSG's European ambitions in the quarter-finals last season.
"Our main goal was to win our group and reach the knockout stages and I am satisfied what we have achieved this," the World Cup winner told reporters.
"Now we will have to await the draw for the round of 16 and we hope that we will not be paired with a great team like the one playing their home games in Catalunya [Barcelona].
"We can continue this adventure and go far if we avoid them for now. We are very ambitious, but I will not get carried away."
The draw for the round of 16 takes place in Nyon on December 16.
