The Catalans are believed to be closely monitoring the defender's situation, but his representative has ruled out a summer move at this pointMarquinhos' agent, Roberto Calenda, has insisted that the centre-back has no intention of leaving Roma amid reported interest from Barcelona.
The 19-year-old was one of the revelations of the 2012-13 campaign and his superb performances have allegedly attracted the interest of the Spanish champions.
Nevertheless, Marquinhos is focused on his current club for now and is not interested in a move elsewhere.
"These rumours are flattering, but he still has a four-year contract with Roma. It's useless to talk about a transfer," Calenda told Radio Sportiva.
"He will stay at Roma. It is inevitable that there is interest from other clubs, but a move elsewhere is not on the horizon."
The defender joined Roma from Corinthians in the summer of 2012 and has since developed into a key player at the Giallorossi.
