The 25-year-old feels he has made steps in the right direction compared to 2011-12, and has stressed that he is working hard to become a better player
Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas says he is feeling better physically than last season, and added that he is desperate to keep on improving. The Spain international joined the Catalans from Arsenal in the summer of 2011, and has fully adapted to the Blaugrana's style of play after experiencing some difficulties last term.
"I’m very relaxed. I’m linking up better and choosing better when to make my runs. I’m much better physically than I was last season," Fabregas said at a press conference.
"I’ve worked hard from the start to ensure I can get to the end in a good condition.
"I’m a very competitive player and I am always trying to improve. I look at what I have done after every game and try and take the positive things that I can give to the team, because you can always get better and do more."
Fabregas has already netted eight goals in all competitions this season, and will be looking to add to his tally in Thursday's Copa del Rey match against Malaga.
