Adriano resumes Barcelona training
The former Sevilla star spent the past few weeks on the sidelines with an ankle problem, but is one step closer to making his comeback
Barcelona have received some encouraging news on the injury front ahead of their Liga trip to Malaga on Sunday as Adriano has resumed training after a spell on the sidelines due to injury.The 28-year-old last featured for the Catalans in the 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid on December 16, and has since been out of action with an ankle injury.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian wing-back is now close to making his comeback as Barcelona have announced on their official website that Adriano has resumed regular training once more.
Adriano has made 11 Liga appearances for the Blaugrana so far this season, netting five goals in the process.
Barcelona currently sit atop of the league table with 52 points from 18 games, holding an 11-point lead over second-placed Atleti.
