TEAM NEWS: Pedro and Villa partner Messi upfront as Barcelona face Cordoba

Tito Vilanova has chosen to start with Lionel Messi, David Villa and Pedro upfront for Barcelona's Copa del Rey last-16 tie this evening, as they take on Cordoba at the Nuevo Arcangel.

Elsewhere in the team Pinto starts in goal, while Javier Mascherano slots in at centre-back alongside Gerard Pique. Thiago is chosen to play in a midfield three with Xavi and Alex Song.

Victor Valdes, Adriano and Andres Iniesta were all rested for tonight's fixture, while Cesc Fabregas misses out after picking up a thigh muscle injury during the club's win over Betis.
