Scotland consider Nigeria friendly

The Tartan Terriers have been presented with the opportunity of facing Stephen Keshi’s men as part of their preparations for Euro 2016 qualifiers

Nigeria are likely to face Scotland in an international friendly billed for Fulham’s Craven Cottage in May.

The European nation have been drawn with Germany, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Georgia and Gibraltar in Group D of the Euro 2016 championship billed for France.

This proposed game is billed to form part of Gordon Strachan’s preparations for the qualifiers which begins in September, according to BBC Scotland.

Nigeria defeated Scotland 2-1 in Aberdeen, a game that formed part of the Super Eagles’ preparation for the Korea/Japan World Cup in 2002.
