thumbnail Hello,

The Nigerian midfielder is on loan to the Serie A side and hopes to continue till the end of the season

Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi, will not be returning to Inter from Parma, his agent has stated.

Obi moved to Serie A side, Parma during the last transfer window and has not had much playing time but will not consider returning to Inter in January.

“Obi is fully recovered from his injury,” Renzo Contratto told Inter Milan’s website.

“His physical problems are fully behind him.

“Physically and mentally he is ready to get back on the pitch. We’re just thinking about Parma at the moment.

“A return to Milan looks to be premature at the moment. Right now, Joel just wants to get back in the Parma team,” he added.

The Super Eagles hopeful is hoping to play more in 2014 to help him enter the consideration of Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi for the World Cup.

He has played only 55 minutes for Parma in the league over three matches.
