The Lazio midfielder has said that getting a ticket to next year's Mundial means a lot to him as a young player
Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has described the team's qualification as a defining moment in his career as a young player.
Onazi represented Nigeria at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2009 and helped the Golden Eaglets to a silver medal in that competitionafter losing the final to debutants Switzerland in Abuja.
The 20-year-old is on the cusp of playing in his first senior World Cup in Brazil barring injury and ill-health and the player has made his thoughts known to Goal that it would be a special feeling for him to feature at next year's World Cup finals.
Onazi told Goal that: "It will be a great achievement because the World Cup is one of the most important tournaments in the world and it would be an honour to represent my fatherland in Brazil at a young age."
