Rabiu Ibrahim has been discharged from hospital few days after collapsing following a collision with Darren Maatsen in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
The Nigerian was stretchered off during the first half, but it remains unclear what caused the problem.
In a statement released by the club late Monday night, the 2007 U-17 World Cup winning midfielder is expected to return to football action in a matter of days.
“Following an incident during last Saturday’s match against Ross County at Rugby Park when our player Rabiu Ibrahim collapsed on the field of play and was later admitted to Crosshouse Hospital to undergo tests, we are pleased to report that Rabiu has now been discharged from hospital and will undertake a period of rest prior to resuming training.”
