UAE 2013: Fifa U-17 trophy unveiled

The trophy for the fifteenth edition of the world cadet championship has been unveiled in Abu Dhabi

The 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup trophy has been made public at the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates capital.

UAE cadet team and Tournament Director, Mohammed bin Bdoua were present  to celebrate the launch of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Winner’s Trophy Tour set to tour all six tournament host cities for the next four weeks.

Football fans and families across the UAE are invited to visit the Trophy Tour to buy match tickets, participate in football challenges and win great prizes.

Nigeria will begin its quest to reclaim the title they last won in 2007 when they take on reigning world champions Mexico at Al Ain Stadium on October 19.

The 52-match FIFA U–17 World Cup UAE 2013 will be played between 17 October and 8 November in the six host cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Sharjah and Al Ain.
