The striker who has scored five goals in seven league games was in Calabar last week to help the Super Eagles qualify for the last round of the 2014 World Cup African qualifiers.
On their official site, a statement said Ahmed scored 41.4% of the votes in a poll conducted on club's official website while captain and goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev came second with 34% of votes.
Musa won the Man of the Match award twice in August and scored thrice: against Amkar perm, Tom Tomsk and Kuban Krasnodar.
The petite striker said he is aiming to win the highest goal scorer award at the end of the season after he helped Nigeria to a 2-0 victory over Malawi last Saturday.
"My ambition this season is to become the leading scorer,” Musa told Goal. "Already I have five goals and I will score more by God’s grace," he added.
Musa scored 11 goals in 28 league matches last season and won the highest goal scorer award in 2010 Nigeria Premier League season when he scored 18 goals.
