thumbnail Hello,

Gordon Igesund has announced his squad for the Nelson Mandela Challenge match against Nigeria, including six Orlando Pirates players

The Bafana Bafana squad which will play Nigeria in the Nelson Mandela Challenge on August the 14th has been unveiled by coach Gordon Igesund.

Igesund has brought back Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali into the national set-up and five other Buccaneer's players have also been included.

However, Igesund will need to wait for confirmation on whether or not Roger de Sa will release his players, due to the Buccaneer's Caf Champions League match against Zamalek three days after the clash against the Super Eagles.

South Africa will face a strong Nigerian squad in Durban, which includes the likes of Chelsea's John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses, Spartak Moskow's Emmanuel Emenike and Africa Cup of Nations hero Sunday Mba.

Following their showdown against Nigeria, South Africa will play Burkina Faso on August 17th during the Nelson Mandela Sports day.
