People of Benue and environs who are supporters and fans of the Makurdi side will enter the stadium on Sunday without paying a dime for their match against the Oluyole Warriors
Lobi Stars' Vice Chairman, Dominic Iorfa has stated that fans wishing to watch Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 23 tie with 3SC of Ibadan at the Chief Emmanuel Akume Atongo Stadium, Katsina Ala will be doing so for free.
The Makurdi Arsenal recently served out their six-match closed-door ban in their last home fixture against Bayelsa United which they lost 3-4 and to repay their fans loyalty and support, Iorfa has decreed that the gate to the stadium be flung open on match day.
The club was banned from playing their last six home league matches with the presence of their fans after an alleged misunderstanding between match officials and the fans after Lobi's draw at home to Enyimba during a match day 10 clash.
"We are going to open the gate to allow our fans to come and watch us for free. It has been long since they last saw us and it will be a honour to have them again in our midst for this one against 3SC.
"It will be a tough match and we are calling for the cooperation of all our genuine fans to comport themselves well and not do anything that will make the League Management Company(LMC) to place on any restriction again. If we have their absolute support, even though the road may seem difficult initially, we shall get the breakthrough for the needed win and lift," Iorfa told Goal.
Lobi are last on the log with 26 points from 22 games but a win over 3SC on Sunday will improve their lot on the log.
