The Oluyole Warriors has decided to curb indiscipline in the team by punishing their star striker for going AWOL
According to the media officer of the club, Jubril Arowolo. Salami consecutively failed to attend two training sessions without official permission.
"We cannot condone indiscipline in the team and all the players must adhere striclty to laid down rules. The management felt that players should not do anything that is contrary to the aims of the club this season.
"Nobody has seen Gbolahan Salami for the past two days and tis is not good for the team as we strive to improve on our League standing.
"After today's training session and with no visible clue as to his whereabouts, the management decided to cut his monthly pay by half with effect from July," Arowolo said.
Gbolaha Salami has scored four goals this season.
