Lobi Stars have formally unveiled Evans Ogenyi as their new chief coach in Makurdi yesterday.
The former Enyimba, Nasarawa United, Jigawa Golden Stars and the defunct Ocean Boys trainer, who resumed his third stint at the club on Wednesday, was optimistic of steering his wards to premier league safety.
Briefing journalists after his official presentation to the players and backroom staff by the club Chief Executive Officer Dominic Iorfa, the new coach vowed to turn around the club's misfortune.
His words: "All hands must be on deck to turn around the club's current bad paths in the league this season. It is a mission that is possible if we put our acts together and remain focused on our collective goals of lifting silverware in both the league and the Federation Cup," said Ogenyi.
"Lobi is a terrain we know very well and hopefully we shall overcome our soccer travails," the graduate of Business Administration at the Nigeria Institute of Sports said.
