thumbnail Hello,

The Enugu Rangers midfielder showed his best form once again as he led the Eagles to rout the Elephants

Nigeria Player of the Week
Sunday Mba
AGE 24
PLAYS FOR Enugu Rangers
Spain 3-0 Nigeria
4-1 Cote d'Ivoire

The home-based Super Eagles complete with Sunday Mba tested their new found confidence and resolve against their counterparts from Cote d’Ivoire and the Nigerian side enhanced their reputation with a comprehensive 4-1 win.

And out of that squad, the Afcon hero further enhanced his value with two goals and an assist. Pundits had wondered on the falling standard of the Enugu Rangers’ acquisition but his first-time volley showed a man high on confidence while the penalty he took was sheer brilliance.

He capped a very fine individual performance by setting up the third goal with a blistering run down the line and the ability to pull the ball back perfectly to get the fourth goal.

Now teams in Europe will realize that he is not a spent force – he still has so much in his locker.

Congratulations to Sunday Mba,'s Nigeria Player of the Week winner!
