The Warri Wolves management has decided to call back its Vice Chairman who was suspended for alleged anti-club activitiesWarri Wolves have recalled Vice Chairman Alex Amudo who was suspended for anti-club activities while Kenneth Nwomucha who has been on capacity has been named the Chief Operating Officer of the Club.
Media officer, Moses Etu, said Amudo was recalled after a crucial meeting where it was gathered that he has shown enough remorse over his action.
Delta State Sports Commission Chairman, Amaju Pinnick who presided over the meeting enjoined all to work together to achieve the objective set for the club this season.
Meanwhile, the club has intensified preparation for the Federation Cup cracker with Dynamites Football Club of Benin scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Rojenny Stadium, Oba, Anambra State.
Speaking on the match, coach Ogbeide told the players that the FA Cup is a different ball game and must not underrate the Benin boys as they are capable of springing surprises.
He urged the players to be focused as Warri Wolves has not gone beyond the group stage in their history, something, he said must be wiped off this season.
“I want to thank you for what you have done in the league but Federation Cup is a different ball game where small teams try to outshine the big ones.
"We have to put into consideration that we have never gone beyond the group stage but this time, we have to erase that and go for the trophy.”
Also speaking, Omofomah Freedom who joined Warri Wolves from Dynamite FC has promised to detonate them when they come as he has what it takes to do that.
He however said he will not celebrate if he scores against his former side.
‘I know them very well and without boasting, I have what it takes to deal with them and I will be happy if I score but I will not celebrate because they gave me the breakthrough I needed in football," Freedom said.
