Enyimba seek Heartland scalp in Aba

The Peoples Elephant have resolved that only a win over their neighbours this weekend would be good enough for their premier league turnaround
Enyimba have asserted that they won't give their next town neighbours Heartlandof Owerri breathing space at all in their Globacom Premier League slated for Aba on Sunday.

The Peoples Elephant have improved their performance at home but they have been disappointing outside their abode.

As they host the Naze Millionaires the Aba giants’ media officer, Farriel Allaputa has revealed to Goal that they are approaching the Week 19 tie with seriousness as they hope to put up a convincing display that would be good enough to earn all points.

Allaputa said: "We are not yet we belong and so we must continue to work harder to get there. Enyimba is not noted for being at the middle of the table or fighting relegation. We shall do everything possible to beat Heartland and then see what puts on the league table.

"It has been an unconvincing display this first round but with a win over Heartland and a turnaround in the second stanza, we shall get there soon."

Enyimba have 25 points from 18 games and are placed eighth while Heartland have 28 points and are in fifth position.
