Coach of the Angolan side says anything can still happen in the second leg game against the Flying AntelopesRecreativo Libolo coach, Henrigue Calisto has said that Enugu Rangers should not be written off for the second leg of the second round of the Caf Champions League.
Rangers and Recreativo Liboolo played out a goalless draw in the first leg game at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Sunday but the Portuguese handler of the Angolan side noted that it is will be dangerous to think that it is all over for the Enugu team because of the goalless draw.
"The fact that we played a goalless draw does not mean we have qualified. The Rangers that I saw is a very good team. Nobody should underrate them.
"I believe the second leg is an entirely new game and at that time, a goal for Rangers will count as double.
"I have told my players that they have to be very careful because anything can still happen in the second leg. We don't have to take chances.
"We have to behave as if we have not played the first leg. The only advantage we have is because we are playing at home.
"But playing at home will not guarantee goals. We must work for the goals. We are going well for the second leg and see what will happen, although I am confident we will go through," said Calisto.
The winner in the second leg will qualify for the group stage of the Caf Champions League.
