Kalu Uche scores twice to help Kasimpasa to a 2-0 away win over Orduspor

The recalled Super Eagles player has gone back to the top of the goal scorers chart with a brace against Orduspor
Super Eagles striker, Kalu Uchecontinued to confirm his good rating in the Turkish league as he scored twice on Saturday to help Kasimpasa beat Orduspor away and add another three points to the newly promoted side’s points total.

Uche scored with a header in the 18th minute to record his 18th goal of the league season and added his 19th goal of the season in the 42nd minute.

Orduspor has Yussuf Ayila in the line-up as the Nigerian defender is on-loan from Dynamo Kiev. Kasimpasa stay fourth on the table with 46 points and are in line to play in Europe next season though they may have to lose their Nigerian talisman on the back of his very impressive goals haul.

Uche has averaged more than a goal every other game – the test for good strikers. He has played 30 league games and of his 19 goals, four have been from penalties.

And on account of his goals, Uche has been called back into the Super Eagles team after missing out on the Nations Cup and will be expected to bring some of his goals along as the Eagles play World Cup qualifying matches against Kenya and Namibia in June and then the Fifa Confederations Cup later in Brazil.
