Chigozie Agbim, former Warri Wolves goal tender may just have been cleared from Wolves and could make his debut for Enugu Rangers on Sunday when they take on Recreativo de Libolo from Angola in the second round of the Caf Champions League.
Reports from informed sources close to both clubs told Goal.com that the transfer of the Super Eagles goal keeper has been agreed in principle and since he was registered for the continental tournament, he could be thrust in between the sticks on Sunday.
The source said; “A fee has been agreed in principle and both clubs just need to sign the papers and transfer the cash.
“But as I speak to you, Chigozie [Agbim] could start for Rangers on Sunday.
The duo of Agbim and Sunday Mba have been in the centre of a transfer imbroglio between Warri Wolves and Rangers and the two players have not featured in the league since the new season started.
