Bayelsa United coach, Ladan Bosso has boasted that he has a good team to prove bookmakers who have written off his team wrong.
Bayelsa is presently in eighth position with 10 points from seven matches and Bosso noted that everything is working for the team and that they have all they need to challenge the top clubs this season.
"It is not as if I am boasting. But I have a good collection of players who are ready to make a name for themselves. They were carefully recruited and are raring to go," Bosso told Goal.com.
"We have 10 points right now, although it could have been more as we lost by two goals to nothing to ABS in Ilorin last weekend.
"It was not a good game for us. We will not be bothered because we know where we are heading to. The management has been doing well for us and we are not going to dissapoint them," Bosso added.
Bayelsa United captain, Tarilaye Nwankwe added his voice to his coach's words by saying that his team is ready to return to the top of the league.
"I know we have a good team and the management being supportive, the players want to write their names in gold.
"We prepared well and hard for the season and we know it will end well," Nwankwe concluded.
