The Eastern Europe based forward has heaped praise on Super Eagles' coach as he hands him another chance to break into the Nigeria's national team ahead of World Cup qualifiersKryvbas Kryvyi Rih of Ukraine winger, Michael Babatunde has expressed gratitude to Super Eagles' coach, Stephen Keshi for giving him another opportunity to train with the country's senior national team.
Babatunde featured for Nigeria during the Dream Team V unsuccessful march to the London 2012 Olympic Games during the qualifiers held in Morocco but he has found it hard getting a space in the Eagles.
Having got another nod in the 30-man team invited by the coach on Thursday, Babatunde in a chat with Goal.com noted that he was looking forward to the World Cup qualifiers and the Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil to really launch himself into the star-studded Eagles' squad.
"I am happy for another chance to represent my fatherland. I know it won't be easy at all but I know my true potential and I know that with Keshi I can realise my dream of becoming the best player in the world in the next couple of years.
"I want to follow the path of Lionel Messi and I know I need the help of an internationally acclaimed coach to climb up that height.
"I will be indebted to coach Keshi for this opportunity. I will not disappoint him at all. I will strive to be among the best in the camp for me to make it to the Confederations Cup in Brazil," Babatunde said from his base in Ukraine.
He was an unused substitute in Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Kenya last month and is yet to make his debut for the Eagles.
