Enugu Rangers and Flying Eagles striker, Alhaji Gero has said he is sure that Burundian club, Vital'O will be defeated on Sunday in the second leg of the Caf Champions League in Enugu.
The first leg ended goalless in Bujumbura and the U-20 star is confident they can triumph over their opponents on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
He told Goal.com in Enugu after Thursday's training session that all the players are in good shape for the match.
"I am so sure that we are going to win on Sunday. This is not an empty boast. We have trained very well and everything is working well for us.
"I did not play in the first leg because I was with the Flying Eagles at the Africa Youth Championship in Algeria. But I am around and should be able to contribute my quota if the coaches find me worthy of a starting shirt.
"We started the new season on a very good form and we don't intend to falter when we just have one game to go before the League stage of the Caf Champions League.
"I am not underrating the club from Burundi. The fact that they qualified for this stage of the competition shows they can also spring surprises.
He then added; "We are in no mood to lose at this stage. The players know what is at stake and with the motivation from the Enugu State Government and the management; we will surely win on Sunday."
