After the exit of Austin Eguavoen, the Port Harcourt side is ready to give the job of a coach to the former Sunshine Stars handlerNigeria Professional Football League side Sharks will unveil new coach Gbenga Ogunbote to take over from Austin Eguavoen who resigned before the game against Gombe United during midweek.
The new man will be unveiled before the derby game on Sunday against Dolphins at the Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Goal.com learnt that in order not to leave a vacuum after the resignation of Eguavoen, Sharks entered into talks with Ogunbote and he will be unveiled before the game against Dolphins.
Sharks media officer, Peter Obaje told Goal.com that all arrangements have been concluded for the new coach to be presented to the media before the derby.
"Yes it is true that Ogunbote will be presented to the journalists tomorrow before the game against Dolphins. We did not want to leave the team without a coach, that is why we decided to give him the job almost immediately.
"We are confident that he will do well as coach of Sharks. We may not have started well this season, but I am confident that we are going to finish well," Obaje said.
Sharks have three points from four matches in the new season.
