Pillars, Rangers Champions League opponents to arrive Nigeria Friday

Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers' opponents in this weekend Caf Champions League preliminary round first leg duel will be arriving Nigeria on Friday top officials of both Nigerian clubs have said.

Pillars the reigning Nigeria Premier League champions are billed to entertain Olympic Real de Bangui of Central African Republic on Saturday at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano but their foes will only storm Lagos, Nigeria Friday night less than a day to the crucial first leg face-off.

The Chairman of the pyramid side, Alhaji Abba Galadima informed Goal.com that the opponents from CAR have been playing hard to get leading to the tie and have refused to give them the full schedule of their itinerary to ease things for them to be good hosts.

"We are expecting them on Friday evening. They will land in Lagos and we must make arrangement about their flight to Kano for the venue of the match. They have refused to give us their names to help to book the flight to Kano for them ahead of their arrival.

"We are assure of the fact that we have prepared adequately for them and we shall beat them hands down insha Allahu on Saturday," Galadima, confidently told Goal.com.

In the same vein, Paul Chibuzor Ozor, The General Manager of Nigeria's second representatives in the Africa's clubs foremost competition,Enugu Rangers has also said that Sao Tome and Precipe flag bearer,Sporting Clube do Príncipe would also hit the country on Friday ahead of the Sunday's confrontations at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium,Enugu.
