Nigeria Premier League champions have decided to remain in Kaduna to conclude preparations for the new seasonNigeria Premier League Champions, Kano Pillars will from Monday next week begin final preparations for the new season by moving to Kaduna.
Pillars will play Olympique de Bangui from the Central Africa Republic in the Caf Champions League on February 16th in Kano and they want to leave no stone unturned to ensure that the team is ready for the coming season.
Coach Baba Ganaru told Goal.com that Kaduna is the best place for his players to go into close camping before the first game in the continent.
"From Monday we are going to Kaduna and we will stay there for two weeks where we are going to conclude all preparations for the new season.
"We have chosen Kaduna because we don't want any distractions from anybody when the boys should be prefecting startegies to face all oppositions in the continent and in the Nigeria Premier League.
"I am sure that we are going to successfully conclude every arrangement to do well next season. We have a good team and we have recruited very good players who are ready to make our supporters smile.
"We are also going to play a lot of friendly matches during the camping exercise and I am confident that everything will work out well for us in the new football year," Ganaru boasted.
