The newly promoted side will have the benefit of playing their home games in Lafia after they played all matches last season away from home
And the players and officials are happy that they will be able to play before their home fans.
Nasarawa United Chairman, Barrister Isaac Danladi told Goal.com that there is excitement in the whole of Nasarawa State with the turn of events.
"We want to thank God that Lafia township stadium is almost completed. This is what we have been looking for and after playing all our matches in Kafachan last season in the Nigeria National League, you will understand the joy in the hearts of everybody in the State.
"Now our players can relax and give their best in the Nigeria Premier League because they will be playing at home.
"To God be the Glory. I am the happiest Club Chairman in Nigeria today because I know what I went through last season playing my home matches away from home.
"The natural grass is lush green,the seats have been mounted both at the VIP and popular stands.
" The dressing rooms,medical bay,gates security barb wires,flood lights and camera stands have all been fitted in the stadium.
"I wish to appreciate the Governor for improving the stadium to recommended standard. He has really made the football loving people happy with this new year gift. The new Stadium is a sight to behold
"We have prepared well as a team and we are going to do our best in the Nigeria Premier League when the new season starts," Danladi said.
Nasarawa United,Nembe City, El-Kanemi and Bayelsa United gained promotion from the lower league to the NPL last season.
