The Oluyole Warriors exerted their superiority over their Ilorin based counterparts with their second consecutive win in three days in a tie played in Ibadan
3SC had earlier won the first leg 1-0 at the upgraded Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin last Tuesday through a 41st minute strike from Gbolahan Salami and the latest victory in Ibadan ensured that the former Nigeria league champions record two consecutive wins over hapless ABS within three days.
Tony Edjomariegwe deservedly shot 3SC ahead in the 21st minute but ABS' Enemi Umoru made the scoreline even when he netted in the 36th minute. The halftime ended 1-1 apiece.
The Oluyole Warriors recoiled to their shell and they found the winning goal in the 57th minute through a fine interchange of passes between Moses Ogaga and Gabriel Adikwu. Adikwu eventually tucked home the second goal to the delight of the sizeable crowd that thronged the Lekan Salami Satdium.
With the conclusion of the two legged affair, 3SC will leave for Ijebu Ode on Saturday for a closed camping exercise while ABS are also slated to travel to Lokoja for a 10 day intensive training exercise.
Both have their sights on the February 16th kick off date of the NPL with the firm believe of improving more than they did last season where 3SC placed 13th and ABS 15th with 49 and 48 points respectively.
